-->> Things to Remember

*** The gates to the Property will open at 9 am on Friday, July 14, no exceptions, no early arrivals, please.

• As for our furry friends, the sheer size of this year’s event combined with our past experience necessitates a no-dogs policy.  As much as we like them, we regret that you won’t be able to bring your pets this time around.

• Your camp chair will need to do double duty as your theater chair for the movie showings in The Barn: BYOC (bring your own chair).

• Each registrant is entitled to an approximately 10 x 15-foot camping spot plus space for a car/RV. Multiple people in the same party may combine individual camp spots into one larger spot, but please only take the amount of space you actually need.

• Remember your flashlights and lots of spare batteries. There is very little lighting on the Property and flashlights are indispensable for nighttime walks.

• Make sure to bring plenty of water. Summertime temperatures in Oregon can be quite warm. Also bring sunscreen and insect repellent. We will have bottled water for sale on site.

• Remember that there are several families who reside on the Property. Please respect their homes and vehicles.

• There will be food (and beer) vendors on site during normal hours each day serving breakfast, lunch & dinner Friday; breakfast & lunch Saturday; breakfast & lunch Sunday.

• There will be showers on site as well as portable toilets.

• There will be a no-open-flame policy for campsites, which means that you may not create your own fire pit in the ground. Camp stoves and bbq grills with lids are permissible if they have ash containment trays and are elevated off the ground.

There are lots of things to do outside of Campout, like wine tasting, antiquing and shopping. This web site has a lot of great information about activities and resources:

We want the Emory Porsche Campout 2017 to be fun and relaxing. Let us know if you have any questions. If not, we’ll see you in mid-July!
